On World AIDS Day, First Health United is proud to announce two important HIV/AIDS projects.
Unfortunately, HIV and AIDS still are a substantial problem in several developing countries. Problems with late diagnosis and poor adherence to ART medication often still leads to AIDS related co-morbidities of HIV.
In collaboration with First Health Pharmaceuticals, First Health United will develop the first ever AIDS Salvage Therapy that will specifically target the many known co-morbidities of AIDS, such as viral co-infections, systemic fungal infections and AIDS related cancers such as Kaposi Sarcoma.
Today is also the day that we announce the start of our “Care & Take Care” awareness program which specifically targets adolescents worldwide through our social media campaign #kissaidsgoodbye which we will explain in a dedicated posting.
